The GDP of the 2nd quarter of 2022 of Chinese economy grew by 0.4% compared with that of the same period of 2021. In terms of international trade, exports grew by 12.8% and imports grew by 1.9% compared with that of the same period of 2021 respectively.

The outbreak of Covid-19 in Shanghai caused lockdown of the whole city, negatively affecting the economy of neighbouring provinces and even that of the whole country very much.
