As the Corona Virus was contained very well in China late the 2nd quarter of 2020, there was no any large scale outbreak across the country when we entered the 3rd quarter of 2020. Only a limited scale or a small number of cases happened here in a few cities. Hence, returning to normal of business has been generally realized since the 3rd quarter in China.

According to the data released by National Statistics Bureau of China, Chinese GDP of the 2nd quarter of 2020 grew by 3.2% compared with that of the 2nd quarter of 2019, changing from minus to plus. Market mostly expects Chinese GDP of the 3rd quarter of 2020 to grow by around 5% year-on-year though the official data has not been released when we approach the beginning of the 4th quarter. Among them, consumption, especially retailing, contributed to the growth remarkably.

Presently, international civil flights are resumed between China and several countries respectively worldwide. But we are extremely worried about the pandemic which is still prevailing very much in other countries globally. Let’s keep fingers crossed for effective vaccines to be available for clinic applications as early as possible for the whole international community, making people in the world ultimately succeed in fighting against this unprecedented  pandemic. Then, people’s life could be back to normal. People’s safety and health could be ensured.
