After entering the 2nd quarter of 2023, covid evaded bascially. On the 5th of May, WHO announced to remove the globe emergency state for covid pandemic. In China, living of people and goods production returned to a normal situation. GDP grew by 6.3% for the 2nd quarter in China year on year. A comparatively big growth. But what we were supposed to notice was that there was a comparatively low base number for the 2nd quarter of 2022 due to an outbreak of covid here. GDP grew by 5.5% for the 1st half of 2023 year on year.
